My husband underwent what we were told would be a minor foot surgery on a Friday. Unfortunately, his experience afterward was anything but minor. He was in excruciating pain immediately following the procedure, and despite repeated attempts to reach the podiatrist, we were unable to speak with him until the following afternoon.
Because the surgery was performed on a Friday and the office was closed, we felt completely without guidance or support during what turned out to be a very difficult postoperative period. Instead of addressing our concerns with compassion, the podiatrist became confrontational when asked why we received no postoperative guidance and why he was unavailable. He raised his voice, spoke over me, and focused on defending himself rather than addressing my husband’s condition.
As a spouse advocating for my husband, I found his behavior both shocking and unprofessional. My husband is currently hospitalized due to complications from his surgery, but we are hoping for a full recovery. I realize that complications can come from any surgery, but communication, availability, and respectful treatment of patients should never be optional.
Due to our experience, I cannot recommend this practice. I have to leave one star, unfortunately, in order to post this review.

My visit today with Dr. Joe Aoun was absolutely wonderful! He has great bedside, manners, communication skills, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable about the problem I was experiencing. He was patient and listened to all of my issues with my foot and he was very knowledgeable . I felt at ease. You can tell he is a very dedicated doctor to his patients I left their feeling very confident and trusting that I can definitely refer him to my family and friends. I’m excited to move forward in receiving my orthotics to Improve my balance and walking The office is very clean. Joseph was very helpful doing my x-rays and the receptionist was very caring and attentive also . I thank you all for a wonderful first visit and for the professional care I received!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Burson this week and found her to be very personable, professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed with her thoroughness of finding out whether I had a fungus or if it was an injury. I am very comfortable with her and trust her 100%. She took the time to explain the situation so that I understood what was going on! Thank you Dr. Burson for being so caring and kind to me.

Staff was welcoming and supportive of my disease progression. Dr Burson is so personable, and very good at explaining things. My only problem was that unlike in previous visits the Aide did not help me get my socks and shoes on.

Dr Joe is very caring and friendly. He goes out of his way to care for his patients to a point that he saw me after hours just to ease my mind. I would recommend him to anyone needing a podiatrist. He's an awesome Dr.
